Hello, Beauty!
One of the hardest things about skin care is figuring out what actually works for your routine.
Especially when you’re shopping online.
There are so many options, so much marketing, and so many products you’re told you “need” that it can get overwhelming really quickly.
When I first started at Annmarie Skin Care, I honestly had no idea where to begin. I thought I had a decent grasp on what my skin needed, but my skin was probably in the worst state it had ever been in.
Mostly because I was trying every product under the sun, and my rosacea-prone skin was absolutely not loving that. I was essentially making my skin worse despite trying everything I could think of.
So within my first two weeks of working here, I had a call with our in-house esthetician, Kate.
And it was so helpful to be able to talk through my skin, my goals, what I was currently using, and where I should actually start. She didn’t push me into a 15-step routine or make me feel like I needed to change everything overnight. She just gave me honest guidance and helped me build a routine that made sense for my skin, my lifestyle, and where I was at.
If you’ve ever been in a similar place — not fully sure if you’re using the right products, needing help building a routine, or simply wanting a little more guidance — Kate and our other in-house esthetician, Emily, host three free 90-minute group skin consultations every week.
Kate also offers one-on-one consultations, which include a 60–75 minute in-depth evaluation based on a thorough survey and a conversation about your skin, your goals, and what you need support with. She’ll also follow up with you in the weeks after to make sure everything is going smoothly and your skin is responding well.
From my experience, talking to Kate didn’t just help my skin. It also gave me so much more confidence in understanding my routine and knowing how to adjust it down the line.
And honestly, even if you don’t change a single thing right away, there’s something really helpful about having someone knowledgeable look at your routine and say, “yes, this makes sense” or “here’s where I’d adjust.” Skin care can feel confusing when you’re trying to figure it all out alone, and these consultations make it feel a lot less overwhelming.
So if you’ve been second-guessing your routine, feeling stuck with your skin, or just wanting a little expert direction, I really think it’s worth joining one.
Plus, each consultation includes limited-time offers only available to attendees, which is always a nice bonus.
