Every day, an estimated 300 million people around the world depend on menstrual products, yet no ISO standard exists to assure those products are safe, consistent, or effective. But that’s changing: with input from nearly 60 countries across the globe, an ISO Technical Committee is developing the first ISO standards for menstrual products.
Reminder: Submit nominations by July 17 for the IEC Young Professionals Workshop, a career-defining experience that brings together emerging industry professionals to participate effectively in global standardization activities. Join a June 16 webinar to learn more.
The renamed consortium will concentrate on AI measurement, innovation, and adoption. Its work will include building an ecosystem for evaluating AI systems, supporting the use of AI in scientific research, and promoting U.S.-developed AI technology.
Just a few days left to apply: ANSI and its Committee on Education encourage students to apply to the 2025/2026 Student Paper Competition, which challenges applicants to investigate the unseen standards that make modern life possible. Entries are due by June 5, 2026.
