Quick note from the studio.
A great photograph captures exactly what a stone looks like. Lit perfectly. Sitting completely still.
But a rare few stones refuse to be captured that way. They keep their best traits hidden until they are actually on your wrist, moving through your day, before they reveal what they truly are.
Here are three stones that need motion to be understood.
Labradorite IV (6mm)
Tilt your wrist and a clean flash of blue runs across the stone, disappears, then resurfaces somewhere else. This is labradorescence, and no two beads catch the light the same way. Still, it reads as a deep grey blue. In motion, it shows you something else.

Blue Aventurine IV (6mm)
A deep azure blue with a fine internal sparkle. As the light changes, the surface appears to softly lift and settle. It remains perfectly subtle across a desk, but catches the light beautifully when you step into the sun.

Kyanite VII (6mm)
Kyanite grows in long natural blades, so the blue runs in distinct linear patterns. Turn your wrist and the color shifts from near navy to a lighter blue, reflecting light back as you move.

If you have been waiting for a piece that responds to your movement, start by taking a look at one of these stones.
