It’s been crazy-busy in the Aus Geo ADVENTURE office this past couple of weeks as we have worked long and hard to put the final touches to the latest issue of our magazine. In Issue 16, on sale this week, you will find all the usual awesome adventure travel, expert advice on all things outdoors, and gear tests, there’s an additional mini magazine focused entirely on the Northern Territory’s amazing Red Centre, one of our all-time favourite adventure destinations.
Also inside this issue, you will find our latest subscription offer: a FREE Helly Hansen beanie when you subscribe to Aus Geo ADVENTURE. With winter just around the corner, it’s perfect timing. See below for that amazing offer.
We could say it’s stressful putting a magazine together – and it can be – but when that mag is chock-full of inspiring stories on adventurers, outdoor travel destinations, plus expert advice on equipment and reviews of the latest gear, it’s not too bad a gig!
Of course, as well as putting the print mag to bed, we’re continuing to publish plenty of adventure content online, with this week’s newsletter including a selection of some of our favourite multi-day walks in Australia and New Zealand. Speaking of NZ, there is also Kirstie Bedford’s entertaining yarn on a journey along the Queen Charlotte Track, in the South Island’s beautiful Marlborough Sounds region.
Add in a review of an impressive camera backpack that Mark Watson tested in the Himalaya, advice on your first overnight kayaking trip, and details on the latest incarnation of one of the mountain bike world’s most iconic models, and there’s plenty here to keep you entertained and informed.
Until next time!
