ISSUE 93 MAY 27, 2026
*Bruce Buffer voice* It's TIIIIIMEEEE. This Saturday, the most electric race the world hath ever seen is going down: the Bandit Grand Prix. We said that last year, we're sayin' it this year, and lord knows we'll be sayin' it again in '27. Lock us up! The carbs are loading. The taper is tapering. The group chats are rallying. Somewhere in Greenpoint, a man is laying out his race kit on the floor and photographing it from above like it's a still life at the Met. Stunning.
Saturday. Brooklyn Storehouse. 3,000 runners, 2,000 spectators. 5K qualifiers in the day, 3K B and Super Finals under the lights, a 50-team Relay slotted in between. Capped off with the Official Afterparty featuring a special musical guest you're just gonna have to wait till tomorrow to find out about. You can't... not be there! To our remote family, tune in on @banditgrandprix for updates throughout the day. We miss you. We love you.
BGP-Mail: the Red Bull x BGP stunt, everything to know, the full capsule, tale of the tape, and the Rythm Health interview.
Let's do this thang.

EVERYTHING TO EXPECT AT THE BANDIT GRAND PRIX
There's a saying in the business...if you don't tell people what's coming, they show up to a Brooklyn warehouse on Saturday wondering why there's a lobster truck and an Olympian taking their blood. So we wrote it all down. The F1 grid, the Super Finals under the lights, the soundsystem that'll blow your Lite Run socks straight off... and of course, enough street chalk for your kiddos to cover Downtown Manhattan.

FEAST YOUR EYES ON THE OFFICIAL BGP '26 CAPSULE
Oh, you think aesthetics are your ally? They merely adopted a sense of taste. Ardith was born with it, molded by it. She didn't see the outside of a mood board until she was already a full-grown Chief Design Officer at Bandit. Aaaand, scene! Thank you Christopher Nolan, you did fantastic as always. Anywho, behold, the BGP capsule.

TALE OF THE TAPE: THE FINAL STATS ON BGP '26
Histograms. State outlines. A 79-year old legend from Houston. Rankings of the most represented clubs/crews, cities and countries. Inside, a charted (2 year) history of how the BGP field went from this is a really big warehouse to "we're gonna need more porta potties" The women's field nearly tripled and someone is flying 8,500 from a city called Pasig in the Philippines to toe the line." Hopefully he treated himself to some extra legroom.

INTERVIEW: THE CEO OF RYTHM HEALTH IS BRINGING A FULL LAB TO BGP
Two minutes, one arm, zero needles. Chatting with Robby Wade, whose healthcare company Rythm Health raised their hand to sponsor BGP. Given a plot of land to camp out on inside the Brooklyn Storehouse, Mr. Wade said, "hold my bi-carb gel, I'm building a dang optimization center." Come for the racing. Stay for the health optimization. Save two birds with four stones, right?
