10 YEARS STRONG
On January 29th, 2013, Beardbrand sold its first beard oil.
The funny thing is that beard oil wasn’t even a Beardbrand product — Beardbrand products didn’t exist yet. But that one sale gave us the confidence to formulate our own product line. And well, here we are 10 years later…
Things have changed significantly over the past decade. But three things have stayed the same at Beardbrand — our core values of freedom, hunger, and trust.
FREEDOM
We’re still fiercely independent with no outside investors, banks, or debt. This freedom allows us to focus entirely on what matters most — providing an unrivaled customer experience and helping men develop confidence through grooming to live life on their own terms.
HUNGER
We’re still hungry as ever to grow — but not at all costs. We believe in doing the little things right day in and day out. We aren’t interested in “miracle ingredients” and fads with only little anecdotal evidence to support the claims. We believe in foundational formulation strategies, not quick cosmetic fixes. When it comes to Beardbrand products, the focus is always on quality over labels. We don't make decisions because it’ll sell more — we make decisions based on maximizing performance and value. TRUST
We’re still committed to full transparency with our customers. We’ll always tell you what ingredients we use and why we use them. We believe our products are the best you can buy, but we also know it’s unrealistic to think a product will work for everyone. So yeah, things might look different around here, and the product offering has evolved, but we put the same care and attention into every Beardbrand product as we did when we were first getting started.
