America may be turning 250, but The Real Housewives of Orange County is turning 20, which somehow feels even more monumental. Who needs Paul Revere on a horse when you’ve got Vicki Gunvalson in a family van? While Season 20 doesn’t premiere on Bravo until July 9, the women of RHOC got together last night to celebrate the anniversary of the OG Real Housewives franchise. It’s wild to think that there are now college sophomores who weren’t yet born when the original season started airing.

But RHOC isn’t the only Bravo show currently having a moment, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island just aired its two-part reunion, cementing it as the new hotness of the Bravo world. I’ve been saying, “I love a crack-ah,” “Janes Fonda,” and “But he is, Ma” for weeks now. The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Next Gen NYC are airing new seasons, and of course, Summer House news keeps rolling out. Most recently, the situationship duo of Amanda Batula and West Wilson will not be returning for Season 11. What is next for America’s favorite reality TV villains? Their future remains unclear, but they won’t be spending the summer listening to Kyle Cooke’s DJ sets.

The real celebration of all things Bravo, however, will come on August 9, when The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip premieres. In honor of 20 years of table-flipping, artificial leg-throwing, and having glam in St. Tropez, seven of the most iconic Real Housewives will be taking a trip across America, visiting the cities that the women have called home. It’s a very Bravo summer!

Fresh off his divorce from Amanda Batula, Summer House’s resident DJ and Loverboy CEO is allegedly cozying up to one of Next Gen NYC’s stars, Ava Dash. While the pair have denied dating rumors, they were spotted kissing at a music festival in the Hamptons this week. According to a Page Six source, “It’s very new. They are talking and hanging out.” While Batula was nearly a decade younger than Cooke, Dash is 17 years younger than Cooke, which is certain to raise eyebrows. Ava Dash, who is the daughter of recently bankrupt music producer Damon Dash and Rachel “Becky With the Good Hair” Roy, is one of Next Gen NYC’s most intriguing personalities, so I for one am rooting for a Next Gen NYC x Summer House crossover. The reality TV gods really are feeding us well.

If watching horror movies at the theater freaks you out a bit, you’re in luck because the latest box office sensation, Obsession, has finally arrived on demand. The indie horror flick about a boy who uses a magical One-Wish Willow to make his longtime crush fall in love with him to disastrous results was shot for less than $1 million. The film, which stars Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette, has become one of the most successful independent films of all time, earning over $373 million worldwide. That’s more than Hoppers, Wuthering Heights, Scream 7, Disclosure Day, or The Mandalorian and Grogu brought in.

For all the scaredy cats out there, you can now watch Obsession from the comfort of your own home, in broad daylight, with the lights on, with the remote handy and a friend ready to tell you when to close your eyes. Obsession is the movie of the summer, and if you’re tired of missing out on the conversation, now’s your chance to see what the hype is about.

Be So For Real — Taylor Swift just please tell us what is going on inside Madison Square Garden

We are now T-minus two days until Taylor Swift becomes Mrs. Travis Kelce, allegedly. All signs seem to be pointing to the pop star marrying the Kansas City Chiefs player at Madison Square Garden on Friday night, but the details are still few and far between. TMZ has reported that a castle is being built inside the arena, with what appears to be a large staircase being loaded into the venue. The New York Times has reported a formal dress code and that cell phones will be checked at the door. They’ve also reported boxes marked “trees” have been carted into the venue. Cue that gif of Jennifer Lawrence crying and saying, “What do you mean?” Swift’s wedding is looming over the holiday weekend like a giant question mark, and I for one, can’t wait to finally see the photos. When Anne Hathaway announced her pregnancy a week ago, I wrote in this very newsletter that we were about to be fed some of the most iconic maternity red carpet looks the world has ever known. Hathaway wasted absolutely no time delivering on that promise, showing up to a press event for The Odyssey wearing an Ashlyn matching set…backwards. Hathaway later made fun of herself, posting a video that features headlines about the backwards ensemble before a clip of her wearing the top right-side forward.
