Tomorrow I head back out on the road, traveling for the next 13 weeks to every part of Texas to work shoulder to shoulder with thousands of Powered by People volunteers.
Together we will meet, register and personally work to turn out the young and new voters who are the key to victory in November.
In a state that makes it harder than any other to keep people from registering and voting, we must do the work that overcomes this challenge. It’s the only way we can win key races for State House, Congress, Governor and U.S. Senate.
If you’ve followed our progress, you know that meeting Texans where they are, face to face, voter by voter, to bring them into our elections is the work that works.
In 2024 the young people in our network turned out at a rate of 79%, more than twice as high as the state average.
