Yesterday, James Talarico joined Beto and more than 1,000 current and future Powered by People volunteers, and what he said gave us the hope we were looking for.
He told our volunteers: “When we win in November, it will be because of the groundwork you and this organization have built all over Texas.”
James talked about the young people showing up to his events, saying it's the first political event they've ever attended. People whispering to him that they're not a Democrat, but they support him anyway. A movement that is bigger than one candidate or one party.
