Powered by People is running “the chase,” meaning we’ll connect with every single one of these Texans.
I want to be direct with you about where we stand.
When we launched our voter chase program two weeks ago, we set a goal to raise $66,000 to cover everything it takes to reach these 150,000 Texans who moved and need to re-register to vote.
The texts. The calls. The contact data that makes it possible to find them in the first place.
We're not there yet.
As the Executive Director of Powered by People, my job is to make sure we have what it needs to get results. Remember, we have had to spend more than $500,000 fighting corrupt Ken Paxton in court, draining us of a significant amount of our resources.
Every dollar goes directly toward reaching a Texan who otherwise might not know they need to re-register after moving.
