Back in February, Taylor Rehmet won Texas’ 9th Senate district in a 31-point swing from Donald Trump’s performance in 2024.

Powered by People volunteers registered, stayed in touch with, and turned out young voters across the district. The election data from February has finally been released and we now know exactly how Powered by People made a difference.
Across the district, just 5.6% of eligible 18-29-year-olds turned out to vote. But the young voters our volunteers worked with turned out at a rate of 12% — more than double the district average.
And our young voters showed up early. 41% of them utilized early voting, outperforming the district-wide youth average by 10 points.
These are the results of early investment, year round organizing, and meeting young Texans where they are. All of that work is made possible by grassroots supporters like you.

With Democrats competing up and down the ballot in Texas this November, our organizing has never been more important. If you’re able, will you chip in $10 to help us continue this work, register more voters, and elect Democrats across the state?
