1. Bluestone Beach - 0 miles from Bluestone

We’ve been a little cheeky with our first pick and included our very own sand play area. It may not have the sweeping coastal views of the beaches on this list, but it’s the perfect all-weather beach alternative. Tucked inside the Serendome, our giant umbrella dome, kids can enjoy building sandcastles all day long, whatever the weather.

2. Barafundle Bay - 15.7 miles from Bluestone

Now, on to the proper beaches! Nestled on the south coast of Pembrokeshire between Broad Haven and Freshwater East, Barafundle is regularly listed as one of the top beaches in the world and could easily be mistaken for somewhere in the Caribbean. Lucky for us, this gem is just a short drive from the resort and an ideal place for a day out.

3. Tenby - 10.2 miles from Bluestone

The historic and picturesque seaside town of Tenby is surrounded on three sides by the sea, giving you four beautiful beaches to choose from. North and South Beach sit at either end of the town, while Harbour and Castle Beach are just a short stroll from the centre. With its colourful streets and stunning coastline, Tenby is as enjoyable to explore as it is to relax by the sea, so it’s no surprise Tenby has been a favourite with Bluestone guests year after year.
