Despite recent reports about tariff reductions, the reality for our specific product category is quite different. Currently, we're facing unprecedented import tariffs of 37% on our shakers– the highest we've ever experienced.
The reality is that vacuum insulated bottle manufacturing doesn’t exist within the United States. Unlike many other industries, we don't have the option to relocate our production domestically, even if we would prefer to do so.
When my co-founder and I started Bolde, we went without paychecks for years to build something we truly believed in. We’re a small team -- just myself, my co-founder, and our customer support rep -- and these tariff increases have put us in a challenging position. We've absorbed these costs as long as possible, but we're now being forced to consider price adjustments.
This decision weighs heavily on me. I founded this company with a commitment to providing exceptional quality at fair prices, and the thought of increasing our prices is a last resort.
