I’m having a green juice summer. It all started at Central Market, a grocery store in Austin, where I became unreasonably obsessed with its green juice: a veg-heavy blend of celery, spinach, cucumber, parsley, and lemon. It was the most refreshing thing I'd ever sipped; perfect for a 100-degree day.

This is my case for owning a juicer. Not because you suddenly want to become a "wellness person," but because summer is bursting with delicious produce, and tbh, there are only so many salads one can eat.

Juice your watermelon. Juice oranges for mimosas. Heck, you can even juice your tomatoes for a martini. Whatever you've picked up at the farmers market, a good juicer can turn it into something delicious—but not all juicers are equally efficient. When you’re spending good money on flavorful, in-season produce, you want to squeeze every last drop from it.

We tested the best juicers to find the ones that deliver the most juice with the least waste. Keep reading for our favorites. You’ll also find:

The Viral Whole Foods Chantilly Cake Is So Good, I Made It My Wedding Cake

By Carly Westerfield

Let me start by saying, I love to bake! I used to do it professionally, in fact. So I know “good cake” when I taste it, and babe, this is it. The vanilla cake layers are as light and delicate as the name Chantilly would suggest. They’re stacked with juicy blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries too. And the almond-scented mascarpone cream frosting lends the perfect tartness to the ripe fruit.
