Hey there,
It’s Brianna, Editorial Director at BOTM. Here’s a look at the seven titles vying for a spot in your box this month. Good luck picking just one.
First up, one for the reality TV devotees. The Lowe Job is a wildly entertaining family drama full of “momagers,” scandals, and media chaos. It’s cheeky and fun, yes, but it also has depth.
From there, The Children takes a darker theme, adding literary horror to the lineup. The editorial team has been eagerly in search of a book that feels both genuinely unsettling and beautifully written. This one absolutely nails that balance.
Form and function combine in Main Characters, telling the story of a relationship through the POVs of everyone but the couple—which somehow makes it feel even more intimate? Read it with tissues!
For romantasy fans, The Shrouded Queen delivers immersive world-building with inspiration from ancient Egypt. Whether you’re into yearning, spice, banter, or simply men who can transform into bears, you’ll love at least one of the romances in this book.
Our next selection, Nymph, is just dreamy. It’s a coming-of-age debut that felt like a summer afternoon stretched across the entire novel. The prose is stunning, with attention to small details that instantly immersed me in Italy.
The Missed Connection is a delicious, fast-moving romance that feels like gossiping with your funniest friend. It’s the perfect read for the pool, the beach, or (of course) the airport.
And finally, Summer’s Never Over closes out the lineup with major summer camp nostalgia. Think cabin gossip and cute lifeguards... but with a side of murder. We couldn’t put it down.
Now the hard part, choosing, is over to you.
Happy reading,
Brianna Goodman
