Over the years Bremont has been fortunate enough to have adorned the wrists of some brilliantly talented individuals. Here are some such highlights, from blockbuster movies through to inspiring military personnel and crazy adventurers achieving the mind boggling, and all wearing Bremont!

TOM HARDY AS EDDIE BROCK IN VENOM

The Bremont U2/51-JET appeared in Colombia Pictures’ highly anticipated, action packed film Venom, one of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex antiheroes. The trailer reached 64 million views in its first 24 hours of release and Venom became a blockbuster smash globally. An utter masterstroke in casting delivered Academy Award® nominated actor Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and the lethal protector. Hardy, who has unique talent and range in creating brooding, dark and twisted characters for the big screen had audiences captivated. Fitting with the dark and sombre tone of the film, the stealthy Bremont timepiece can be seen throughout, adorning his wrist.

RONNIE WOOD

Critically acclaimed artist, producer, song writer, and esteemed Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood unveiled a very limited series of unique and individual watches in collaboration with luxury British watch company, Bremont. Wood individually hand painted 47 limited edition watch dials whilst being on tour with the Rolling Stones, a nod to the year he was born, 1947. Each watch in the collection is a one-of-a-kind piece, showcasing original art from Ronnie himself, and housing a rather special Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier movement with moon phase complication.

KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE

Bremont was chosen to produce some unique custom made watches for acclaimed director Matthew Vaughn’s film Kingsman: The Secret Service. The 20th Century Fox film, starring Colin Firth, Samuel L Jackson, Michael Caine and Taron Egerton, is based on the renowned comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class). Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret British spy organisation that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training programme just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. Bremont is featured throughout the film having produced the mechanical watches for the Kingsman agents themselves, Nick English (Co-Founder Bremont) also makes a cameo role as one of the Kingsman.

BEN SAUNDERS

Bremont watches are designed to be fit-for-purpose in the most severe places on earth, they are designed to be truly Tested Beyond Endurance. Bremont has worked with record-breaking polar explorer Ben Saunders for many years and specifically on the testing and development of two Limited Edition watches to date. The purpose-built Terra Nova was designed to accompany Ben on what was set to be the longest human-powered polar journey in history, an incredible 1,800 mile trip, whilst the Bremont Endurance set out with Ben in November 2017 to make the first solo and unsupported crossing of Antarctica.

CAREY LOHRENZ

As the first fully qualified female F-14 Tomcat Fighter Pilot in the U.S. Navy, having flown missions worldwide as a combat-mission-ready United States Navy pilot, Lohrenz is used to working in fast moving, dynamic environments, where inconsistent execution can generate catastrophic results. Making custom watches for different military squadrons around the globe is a big part of the Bremont business and Carey is an example of one of these remarkable individuals wearing our watches, something we’re enormously proud of.

WHAT DOES CAREY WEAR?

ROSS EDGLEY

Bremont enlisted the help of British swimming champion Ross Edgley to put the S2000 design through its paces. Ross Edgley: “I am so incredibly proud to partner with Bremont as they embrace that exact same ethos of being ‘fearlessly progressive’ in their own field of watch manufacturing and horology as you can quite literally see the passion engrained into every timepiece.” Ross is an adventurer and author widely known for becoming the first person to make history by swimming all the way around Great Britain in 2018. After 2,000 miles and 157 days, the swim was announced as the ‘World Swim of the Year 2018’ and it became officially recognised as ‘The World’s Longest Staged Sea Swim’.

PETER HICKMAN

As the Official Timing Partner of the Isle of Man TT, Bremont teamed up with current Senior TT champion Peter Hickman who is credited with the fastest lap ever recorded and puts the British mechanical timepieces through their paces at this most iconic of race courses. The TT Course is world famous and recognised as the last of the great challenges in motorsport, the ultimate test of both man and machine.

NIRMAL 'NIMS' PURJA MBE

2019 saw one man achieve the impossible. It is unlikely in this lifetime that anyone will complete something of the magnitude that Bremont Ambassador Nirmal ‘Nims’ Purja MBE accomplished in just 6 months and 6 days. Nims firmly took his place in mountaineering history when he completed Bremont Project Possible, a challenge to summit Earth’s 14 tallest mountains, all higher than 8,000m, in less than 7 months. Smashing the previous record of nearly 8 years and breaking a further 6 world records in the process, it’s arguably a record unlikely to be broken. The 14 mountains all enter the ‘death zone’ at that altitude, so-called because human life cannot exist there. Unphased by the enormity of the challenge, Nims never contemplated failure.

CHARLEY BOORMAN

The modern-day adventurer was one of the first to test the prototype Bremont watches with Ewan McGregor back in 2006 during the filming of their iconic documentary ‘Long Way Down’, a gruelling motorcycle trip from Scotland to South Africa. Bremont watches were not yet available for retail but having shown passion for the brand’s story, Charley and Ewan were keen to be amongst the first to test the strength and reliability of the watches during their incredible endurance adventure. Being very particular over the equipment used in such rugged environments, Bremont is delighted to be Charley’s watch of choice for his adventures.
