Catching a big break(-in)

Happy Thursday! We're happy to report that many of you Woodwards and Bernsteins out there were able to piece together that yesterday's Tightrope theme reflected the 54th anniversary of the botched Watergate break-in, the first domino to fall in a series of events that eventually toppled the Nixon presidency. How does a tonsillectomy relate to the Watergate scandal? FBI associate director W. Mark Felt leaked critical details to the press using the pseudonym "Deep Throat," which is also a pretty good description of where tonsils usually reside. Thanks to everyone who wrote in! Special shout-outs to the following people who are definitely not crooks: Mary Kennedy in Louisville, KY; Victoria Harris in Tupelo, MS; and Frank in Cleveland, OH.
