Happy Thursday! Yesterday's Tightrope quiz was rife with questions about centipedes, centennials, and centurions, so it's little wonder so many readers were able to deduce that the hidden theme was "100." Trickier questions about international checkers (played on a 10×10 grid) and the piano's middle C key (C being the Roman numeral for 100) may have kept some responses from being a hundred percent accurate.
What makes this theme timely? This is the 100th week of Tightrope! Many thanks to our wonderful players, whether you've been with us since day one or have only recently joined the fun! Special thanks to Bob Matson in East Lansing, MI, and Rich Manor in Waynesboro, VA, for going from zero to a hundred in record time.
