Peony brooch crafted from embroidered pink and green silk, pinned to a velvet brown jacket. - Shop Now.

Gilded peony silk brooch

Textiles have been part of the story of human history for thousands of years, connecting cultures through trade, art and craftsmanship. Silk in particular has travelled across continents, valued for its beauty and refinement.

Leading this collection is a new statement piece by designer Yanhong Chen. Inspired by ancient Chinese peony motifs symbolising purity and elegance, this silk peony brooch is delicately embroidered in soft tones of green and pink to echo the natural beauty of the flower in bloom. Crafted with silk petals, adjustable leaves and gold-plated copper details, it is finished with a pearl centre.
