Did you think the 2020 (P) American Silver Eagle was rare? Well, here is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get your hands on the single rarest Silver Eagle ever produced! The 2015 (P) Silver Eagle has a tiny mintage of just 79,640 coins. Considering some American Silver Eagles have upwards of 50,000,000 minted, this coin is rare... In fact, its about 627 times as rare. These coins do not bear a mintmark and can only be identified by a unique serial number on a sealed U.S. Mint Monster Box. So many of these boxes were opened before the 2017 discovery that these coins even existed, which disqualifies them from ever getting the (P) designation. This only adds to their rarity. Only 2,332 have ever been graded in near perfect, MS69 grade by NGC. In fact, NGC will no longer grade these coins, so this number will likely never go up!
