Our take is a texture adventure packed with whole sesame and blue poppy seeds, pearl salt, naturally dried garlic and onion (with no burnt bits) and earthy caraway and cumin that give it a depth you won't find anywhere else.

We launched Everything Bagel Crunch (EBC) this past May as part of our Classics Reinvented line. You’ll want to reach for the big container over and over again because thoughtful sourcing makes our blend more than just a bagel flavoring—it’s a celebration of everything in everything bagel and more.

Our quest to make the best-ever blend started years ago as we chased the perfect components. From Turkey, unhulled raw sesame seeds with higher sesame oil content enrich every rich bite. Vietnamese heirloom purple stripe granulated garlic and minced onion are hot-air dried to give you a deep caramelized flavor. Tanzanian Zanzibar black peppercorns add a bright, gentle citrusy heat. Cumin isn’t normally found on an everything bagel, but we’ve paired it with Indian Crescent Caraway seeds to give you a bready whiff, as if you were eating a freshly toasted bagel. The small pearl salt — one of the signature textural elements of this blend — delivers satisfying crunch and clean salinity without overwhelming the other flavors. Finally, blue poppy seeds round out the blend with a mild, earthy note and eye-catching visual contrast.

How do I use Everything Bagel Crunch?

Everything Bagel Crunch is your newest kitchen shortcut! It can act as a dredge, as part of an egg wash for baked goods and an exciting finish to pretty much anything: steamed vegetables, avocado toast, eggs, soups, popcorn, rice, snacky nut mixes and even vanilla ice cream!

• For sushi-grade fish, roll it in EBC and sear over high heat. Slice it up and enjoy with soy sauce and a side salad. Another great option is this 2-ingredient salmon recipe.

• Make macaroni with a silky cream cheese sauce and top it with as much crunch as you desire. You don’t even have to salt the pasta water because it’s already in the topping! Phyllis from the Burlap & Barrel Spice Forum also suggested stuffed cream cheese pepper poppers with EBC on top.
