Hello, September. We've Been Waiting for You.

September might just be one of our favorite months to get outside. The heat starts to ease, the mornings get a little cooler, the trails get a little quieter, and campfire nights become even better. Whether you're squeezing in one last summer adventure, shopping our Labor Day Sales, or already dreaming about crisp fall hikes, there's plenty of outdoor season still ahead. So grab a layer, lace up your boots, and get out there — the best season may just be beginning.

Maroon Bells – Crater Lake Trail
Aspen, Colorado

September is spectacular in Colorado's Elk Mountains. The aspens begin turning brilliant shades of gold while the rugged Maroon Bells rise above the landscape.

The Crater Lake Trail takes hikers through aspen groves and alpine scenery before arriving at beautiful Crater Lake beneath the mountains.
