Motherhood lives in the spaces between generations, in the hands of our grandmothers, in the rituals of our mothers, in the daughters learning to listen to their intuition, and in their sons raised by women who teach them tenderness and respect to women.
This Mother's Day, we celebrate the invisible thread that units us. The wisdom passed through stories, recipes, fabrics, and memories. The feminine energy that carries life forward with strength and softness as once.
I think of my grandmothers Kika & Flora, of my mother Diana, of my son Dylan, and my chosen ones Ada, Ianxul, & Ilai. Women who taught me that creation itself is an act of care and that to nurture is powerful. That intuition is sacred. That sisterhood can heal. That home can exist inside a person.
