What a "play" means changed
 

The industry had news of its own last month, and it lands right in your episode stats.

Spotify changed what counts as a podcast "play." An episode now has to hold someone for 30 seconds, which filters out accidental taps.

The change itself is fine, but every app counts your show a little differently, and their rules seem to keep changing. The same episode shows a different number everywhere it plays.
