Saints of July, Pray for Us!

It's officially the height of summer! Being in Ordinary Time, we are in the perfect place to reflect and grow. As we enjoy summer and all the fun that comes with it, let's meditate on the lives of the saints!

St. Mary Magdalene Desk Plaque

St. Mary Magdalene was a devout follower during Jesus' travels, providing monetary aid to His ministry. She was also the first to witness His resurrection, and shared the news with the Apostles. Her feast day is the 22nd of July.

Benedictine Medal Hoodie

St. Benedict's feast day is July 11th. He pursued a quiet, monastic life in a small town in Italy. He lived as a hermit for a few years, but went on to found thirteen monasteries and the Benedictine order. His writings are still cited to this day.

St. Ignatius of Loyola Holy Card

St. Ignatius was born to a Spanish noble family, and began a military career early in his life. This was cut short due to a leg injury. While in recovery, he began reading about the life of Christ, and was inspired to pursue the holy life. He went on to found the Jesuit order. His feast day is the 31st.

St. Kateri Quote Turtle Tea Towel

St. Kateri was a Native American woman of the Mohawk tribe. When she was young, French Jesuit missionaries visited her village, and she quickly became interested in the faith. At 19, she was baptized, against the wishes of her village. She went on to take a vow of chastity, and traveled to a Jesuit mission village, where she lived the rest of her life in faith. Her feast day is the 14th.
