If you tune in to the FIFA World Cup this summer, you’ll see something new during this year’s tournament: mandatory water breaks every game.
Fresh, clean water for every player on the field.
Because at the highest level of the sport, everyone agrees: football takes water.
But for millions of kids around the world, clean water isn’t waiting on the sidelines. Instead, their morning belongs to the walk for water, not practicing the game they love.
So while the world cheers on the goals of their World Cup teams, we’re asking you to help us reach our goal of funding 21 new projects in communities that don’t have access to clean water.
For every project covered by the charity: water community before July 10, our generous partners will fund another one.
Water projects cost about $10,000, but donations of any amount help push a project toward the finish line and get us closer to unlocking funding for another one.
That’s how 21 projects becomes 42 communities with clean water.
