Hey - - it's Steve from Casa Cheech & Chong
Today is the day. Tommy Chong is officially 88 years old.
On behalf of everyone here at Casa Chong (the whole team that gets to wake up every day and do this crazy but very fun and rewarding job), we just wanted to take a second to say happy birthday to the man himself.
Working with Tommy is not like working with most people. I'll just say that. He shows up to every Zoom call with a smile on his face and something genuinely interesting to say. He remembers your name.
He asks how you're doing and actually listens to the answer. He gets excited about new products like a kid on Christmas morning.
And somehow, at 88 years old, he is still the most enthusiastic person in any room he walks into.
We are very lucky, and we know that.
And so are you, because you're part of this familia too.
The response to Cheech's little birthday surprise campaign was something else. Over a thousand messages, hundreds of videos, stories and memories and love from all over the country.
We've been going through everything and it has been genuinely one of the most heartwarming things we've ever been a part of over here.
Tommy has seen a good chunk of them already and let's just say... the man is touched. More on that soon.
