Dear Friends,
The devastation caused by the earthquakes in Venezuela is almost impossible to comprehend.
This isn't a tragedy that will fade from the headlines in a few days. It is one of the world's most urgent humanitarian crises.
An estimated 50,000 people are still missing. Imagine standing in the rubble of your home, waiting and praying that a husband, wife, parent, or child might still be found alive. With every passing hour, that hope grows more fragile.
Nearly 1.8 million people have been affected, including 680,000 children. Entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble. Hospitals are overwhelmed. Water systems have failed. Schools have become emergency shelters. Families who had homes just days ago are now sleeping in churches, parks, and makeshift tent communities with nowhere else to go.
Today, instead of sharing books or special offers, we're asking you to join us in helping our friends at Convoy of Hope.
Within hours of the earthquakes, Convoy of Hope was on the ground serving survivors and supporting rescue efforts. Their teams are providing hot meals, clean drinking water, hygiene supplies, and other life-saving essentials to families who have lost everything.
What encourages us most is that Convoy of Hope won't leave when the cameras do. They are partnering with local churches, helping families rebuild, and sharing the love of Jesus by meeting both physical and spiritual needs with compassion and dignity.
This tragedy has weighed heavily on our hearts, and today we're asking the Christianbook family to stand with the people of Venezuela.
Convoy of Hope has assured us that 100% of every designated donation made through this appeal will go directly toward relief efforts in Venezuela—providing food, clean water, emergency supplies, and hope for families facing unimaginable loss.
Would you prayerfully give whatever God places on your heart today? If you prefer, you can also send a check to the address below. Please mention that you're part of the Christianbook family.
Thank you for your prayers, compassion, and generosity. Together, we can remind the people of Venezuela that they are not alone—and that even in their darkest hour, the love of Christ reaches them.
