Convey of Hope | Christianbook

Thank you to everyone who has joined Convoy of Hope in helping the victims of the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. Your donations are making a real difference, and Convoy of Hope has committed to use 100% of the gifts raised through these emails to directly support earthquake victims.

The news cameras have left, but the need is still there. Too often, relief organizations struggle to raise support once a disaster fades from the news cycle. But Convoy of Hope is still on the ground and going full force.

There is hope—but they still need our help. Please read the urgent update below.

URGENT UP08/01/26: Venezuela Earthquake Relief Continues

HELP SUPPORT VENEZUELAN EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS

Dear Friend,

For days, a mother named Luz Mari desperately searched for her missing 3-year-old son.

She searched hospitals and shelters throughout La Guaira and Caracas, crying, praying and refusing to give up hope.

Finally, she received the news she had been praying for: Rescuers had pulled her little boy alive from the rubble with several other children.

After days of fear and uncertainty, Luz Mari was able to hold her son in her arms again.

It was the answer to her prayers—but it was not the end of their crisis.

Their home was completely destroyed. They had nowhere familiar to return to and no way to provide many of the basic things her little boy still needed.

I recently returned from Venezuela, and the destruction is difficult to describe. Some apartment buildings had collapsed into piles of rubble. Others were still standing, but their exterior walls were gone. From the street, I could look directly into bedrooms and living rooms where families had built their lives.

Thousands of those families are now living in tents with nowhere else to go.

The cameras have left Venezuela, but the families who lost everything are still there.

When I recently spoke with Dan Dillon on the Not the Bee podcast, he said, “We want our listeners to know what great work you guys do.”

I am grateful for the opportunity to share why this work must continue.

Convoy of Hope had a team inside Venezuela when the earthquakes struck, and we immediately began delivering food and clean water. We are still there today, with millions of meals on the way, along with bedding, hygiene supplies, baby items and other necessities.

One survivor told us:

“If it weren’t for you and those who support us, we wouldn’t have anything to eat … or even a glass of water. Thanks to that, we are alive today.”

HELP SUPPORT VENEZUELAN EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS

If just 10 people reading this email make a gift today, together we can help feed and care for more families like Luz Mari and her little boy—families who survived the earthquakes but are still struggling to survive what came next.

Would you be one of those 10?

Your gift can help provide meals, clean water and essential supplies to children who have lost their homes, their beds and nearly everything familiar to them.

The cameras may be gone, but these children are still there. They still need food. They still need clean water. And their parents are still holding on to hope.

Thank you for helping us be there for them.
