THE ART OF CORALOGY

Since 2019, we’ve supported Blue Marine Foundation in its quest to protect the oceans. And through this, we fell in love with the beauty of coral reefs - which naturally influenced the colourful Trident Reef collection under the art of what we like to call ‘coralogy’. Horology inspired by the the depths of colour in the deep below.

The Trident Reef collection allowed us to explore bold colours inspired by the richness of coral reefs and surrounding marine life. Through the early stages of design we discovered Ana Brecevic, a Franco-Croatian paper artist and designer whose work centres on the living world. Her Coralium artwork, a paper sculpture of coral reefs, is a wonderful expression of natural beauty below the surface.

The C60 Trident Reef is a dive watch that pays tribute to these corals while delivering an impossible-to-ignore wrist presence, at a price you’ll love.

Tropic thunder

Available in four tropical colours, the dial plays host to an inner ring that adds extra contrast – while the indices and handset are deep-filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 GL C1 for nocturnal high-visibility. Look out for the complementary colours of the minute hands, too.

In both 41mm and 44mm sizes for a bigger, bolder fit, and with a 316L steel ‘sandwich’ case made up of a case back, mid-case, anodised mid-case ‘sleeve’ and aluminium (or ceramic) bezel insert that contrasts with the steel. This design delivers unmissable wrist presence from above and the side, ideal when evenings are long and sleeves are short.

Strap up, change up

Things get even more exciting with the sporty, solid rubber straps – available in six tropical colours, and giving you 24 possible combinations. Plus, thanks to Christopher Ward’s quick-release system you can change your strap in seconds. The Reef is also available on our Bader bracelet – which boasts a micro-adjustment mechanism so you never have to sacrifice comfort.

And because we put our money where our mouth is, we’ll be donating 2 percent of the price of the Trident Reef to Blue Marine Foundation to continue supporting the incredible work in saving and protecting our coral reefs in the present and for the future.
