I'm going to break the fourth wall!
This collection was actually supposed to release during the World Cup. We even designed a few football kits as a small nod to the tournament because it felt like the perfect moment. Then life happened. Manufacturing delays pushed everything back, and for a while I was genuinely frustrated.
But after seeing the collection come together, I realized something.
I don't care that we missed the World Cup.
Street Fighter has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on Street Fighter II Turbo, and don't even get me started on Marvel vs. Capcom. When Capcom gave us the opportunity to create this collection, we approached it as fans first. Every piece had to earn its place. Every illustration was hand drawn from the ground up. The football kits became a fun tribute to the World Cup, but they were never the story.
The story has always been Street Fighter and the deeper a story of fighting through chaos and Blooming into a RFC
