This year alone, we've lost Margot Café & Bar, Burger Up, Varallos and 12 South Taproom , while longtime beloved spots like Rotier's and Gold Rush still inspire "remember when?" conversations.

So this week, I want to hear from you: Which Nashville restaurant do you miss the most?

Maybe it's a neighborhood standby where the staff knew your order. Maybe it's a special-occasion destination. Maybe it's a place that closed decades ago, but still comes up every time someone starts talking about old Nashville.

Email me at [email protected] and tell me the restaurant or bar you'd bring back if you could.

Meanwhile, if you're looking for a new food adventure, I spent time exploring Pan-Asia Supermarket in Antioch, the first completed piece of Nashville's long-planned Chinatown development and the largest Asian supermarket in Middle Tennessee.

From live seafood tanks and fresh-baked buns to century eggs and frozen Korean street food, here's why it's worth the trip.

Here's more of this week's food news.

Burger Up, one of Nashville's most recognizable neighborhood burger joints, will close its original 12 South location in August. Here's what's next for the restaurant, the property and the rapidly changing neighborhood around it. Read more here.
