Such a pleasure to inform you that Master PDF Editor 5.9.40 has been recently released. There are a number of beneficial improvements made by now that’ll be useful and greatly simplify the process of creating and editing PDF documents with the help of Master PDF Editor.
The latest key updates list since the version 5.9.0:
While applying a digital signature, the following things are available: preview information, inserting custom signature text, creating a colored border, and locking interactive form content.
The detection of background fill color has been improved, both in colored and black-and-white documents. Moreover, the OCR settings have been greatly simplified and the tesseract-ocr has been updated to version 5.
You can currently export pages to CSV that allows saving PDF files with the mentioned format.
The mode allows viewing documents page-by-page. A continuous view mode is set by default.
Use the cloud tool to emphasize commented objects in documents. In addition, drawing polygons is available now.
A background automatically goes transparent when adding an image with initials.
If the option is enabled, it will automatically save your content at certain intervals that can be changed if necessary.
Master PDF Editor can convert documents to the standardized ISO version of PDF format, designed for archiving and long-term storage of electronic documents.
Master PDF Editor allows adding headers and footers; the elements may contain text, page numbers or date.
Now it’s possible to drag-and-drop open tabs just like in a web browser and move documents to a different Master PDF Editor instance that makes work with several files easier.
Text merging into blocks has been improved. Separated objects are now automatically merged into blocks while text editing.
The incorrect import of bookmarks while creating a new document from files has been fixed. Also, a bug that caused the “Import Bookmarks” checkbox in the “Create a new document from files” dialog to be missing has been fixed.
The minimum Qt version required has been upgraded to 5.15.2. All packages will be available via the same links, so you can download relevant builds on the website.*
*Please note, it changes the naming scheme of Linux packages. Before, Linux package with -qt5.x86_64 postfix has required Qt 5.9. Now, the package with this postfix (namely, master-pdf-editor-5.9.40-qt5.x86_64.deb) requires Qt 5.15. Legacy package with Qt 5.9 explicitly named (master-pdf-editor-5.9.40-qt5.9.x86_64.deb) is also available for older systems.
