MultiDock 2 is here — the new version is now available

Hi everyone,

I have some great news — MultiDock 2 is now available!

First of all, thank you to everyone who uses my apps, and especially MultiDock. Your support allows me to keep improving and developing the project.

Many of you have already received an early version of MultiDock 2 and sent me feedback, suggestions, and bug reports. Thank you very much for your feedback — I’m actively improving the new version based on your messages.

What’s new in MultiDock 2

MultiDock 2 has been completely rewritten from the ground up and adapted for modern versions of macOS.

It is essentially a new generation of the app and will serve as the foundation for the future development of MultiDock.

At the moment, the minimum supported system version is macOS 15 Sequoia. I understand that some users are still running older versions of macOS, and I’ll continue looking into ways to expand compatibility in the future.

Important information about licenses

MultiDock 2 uses a new licensing system, but existing customers do not need to worry.

You will receive a free MultiDock 2 license if:

• you purchased a Lifetime License;
• you purchased a Standard License from the beginning of 2026 onward.

If you’re not eligible for a free MultiDock 2 license, I’ve also made a 50% upgrade discount available for existing users until August 20.

The discounted price will appear automatically in the licensing window when you launch MultiDock 2.

I’m currently preparing a separate automated email with the new licenses. Your new MultiDock 2 license should arrive today or within the next few days.

Please note: if your existing license does not activate MultiDock 2 yet, there is no need to worry or contact support separately about it. This is expected. A new license specifically for MultiDock 2 will be sent to you in a separate email.

The license email is being sent to a large number of customers, so it may take a little time for everyone to receive it.
