34 ATF Rule Changes: What Happens If Gun Owners Stay Silent?

The DOJ and ATF have opened one of the largest federal firearms rulemaking efforts in years — 34 proposed and revised rules now in public discussion, most still inside their comment windows. Pistol braces, "engaged in the business," bump stocks post-Cargill, NFA interstate travel, Form 4473 modernization, electronic recordkeeping, FFL enforcement standards — it's all on the table. gWebs sorted all 34 into practical groups so you can see what actually affects you. S13E18: Carrying In Your Vehicle – Best Practices & Biggest Mistakes
Jacob and I get into one of the trickiest contexts most concealed carriers operate in every day: the car. When does it make sense to keep the gun on your body versus stage it in the vehicle? Why is administrative handling in the driver's seat so risky, and what makes reholstering with a seatbelt on its own problem? Colorado SB003 Update: The SSF List Drops Ahead of Aug 1

August 1st is the date. As of this week, we finally have the list. Colorado's Department of Revenue published the official guidance for SB25-003 — 152 pages naming the firearms that fall under the new "Specified Semiautomatic Firearms" category. Roughly 90 pages of it are AR and AK pattern rifles. Jacob breaks down exactly what's on the list (and what isn't), walks through CPW's new customer process — sheriff visit, eligibility card, 4- or 12-hour course, FFL database check, 5-year reset — and explains why pending lawsuits aren't going to stop the calendar.
