Challenge 2 is live. Yesterday was about your gear. Today is about you.
The question today: would you actually make good decisions under pressure?
It's one thing to own the right light. It's another to know what to do when it counts — when to illuminate, when to move, when to say something, when to draw, when to just walk away. Owning the gear is the easy part. The decisions are where it gets hard.
So today, instead of filling out a form about your equipment, you're going to watch a series of short, real scenarios. Each one stops at the decision point. Your only job is to say what you'd do.
One thing before you start: some of these have more than one defensible answer. We're not grading you on picking the "right" one — we're interested in whether you're weighing the right things. So don't overthink it. Answer with your gut, the way you'd have to in the actual moment.
And we're not going to tell you how you did today. Dan breaks every one of these down on Thursday, including the scenarios where people split hardest. Some of the disagreements might surprise you.
If you missed Challenge 1, no problem — it's still right there on the page. Do them in any order. Finish all four and you'll earn the Low-Light Readiness badge, plus $5 in store credit.
All of this builds to the live session on Thursday, August 13, with Dan Brady. If you're not already registered, make sure you do that here.
Train well,
Jacob Paulsen President, ConcealedCarry.com
P.S. Tomorrow we find out what you actually know about how light works in a fight. Fair warning — a few of these questions get missed by people who've carried for twenty years. See you then.
