This morning at 3:30 AM, the United States Senate voted 61-32 in favor of a 30-day extension to the federal hemp ban that begins November 13, 2026. This is proof that Congress wants to regulate these products, not ban them, and it's the biggest political win for hemp consumers since the 2018 Farm Bill!
Let us be clear, this is because of YOU! You picked up the phones, sent emails, posted on social media, and showed up. Tens of thousands of you, to be exact. As a result, the Senate just voted in our favor. Jim and I will never take that for granted.
But Cornbread family, our mission is not complete. This 30-day extension now goes to the House and will be voted on in September. Then the fight will move to passing regulations before this 30-day extension runs out on December 11th.
None of this is going to be possible without you. But as we learned this morning, it is absolutely possible if we all continue to come together and fight back. Please stay tuned for our next point of action as we continue on our mission to make hemp products legal in America. Thank you again!
