Yvonne is a technical writer in the aerospace industry by day and a modern quilter and quilt pattern designer by night. She was introduced to quilting when her grandmother offered to hand quilt a twin-size quilt to use in her college dorm room if Yvonne made the quilt top.
|
|
|
|
Yvonne has developed a style that bridges her technical background and love of color, specializing in curves, transparency color play, and bold, geometric designs. Her award winning quilts, which have been featured in numerous national and international magazines, quilt shows, and books, often incorporate the quilting plan as a key design element, and she quilts her quilts on her domestic Juki sewing machine.
