The Perfect Winter Sole

Our cleated rubber sole options (from Vibram) have become popular choices throughout the industry… This trend of pairing an oversized, cleated and very comfortable rubber sole, with classic English uppers, seems not to be slowing. A more recent addition is our lightweight cleated rubber sole (also from Vibram), which until worn, cannot be truly appreciated. Its lightness is very ‘un-English’ and its comfort unrivalled. Below are the two versions side by side:

A heavy duty VIBRAM sole with their signature ‘Carrarmato’ design. The Mont compound offers incredible resistance to wear with heightened levels of grip that are perfect for winter or late autumn days. When coupled with high quality upper leather or Scotch Grain, a modern sole works seamlessly and stylishly with traditional methods of manufacturing.

The Lightweight Cleated sole is a softer version of the Vibram Cleated sole, designed for comfort and flexibility. With its rugged tread pattern, the sole may look heavy, but is surprisingly lightweight in wear.
