MSC Cruises’ newest flagship, MSC World Asia, has unveiled its spectacular new centrepiece: a 12-metre stainless-steel dragon suspended above the Outdoor World Promenade. Featuring nearly 700 mirrors, 400 metres of lighting and more than 3,000 LED points, the pearlescent sculpture is designed to come alive after dark. Currently under construction in Saint-Nazaire, France, MSC World Asia will set sail on its first Mediterranean cruises from 4 December 2026.

Our team have been onboard Valiant Lady for the day to check out Ariya, the ship’s new Indian restaurant, serving up bold flavours, aromatic spices and a modern take on Indian cuisine. Expect vibrant dishes, plenty of flavour and a dining experience with a little more va-va-voom than your average meal at sea. We’ve had a nose around, naturally, and it’s looking rather delicious…
