Following on from our Birthday mystery bundle, which sold out very quickly, we have this luxury mystery box - a selection of high-end stationery from some of the top luxury brands, in a mystery bundle that's well under half the RRP of the contents.

The rather nice box contains luxury fountain pens in your choice of nib size (while stocks last!). There will also be other things to write with, and at least something to write on. Maybe even something to help store or carry your favourite pens.

Lamy Safari Kuru Toga is Back!

There was much excitement recently, when Lamy launched the Safari pencil with the Kuru Toga engine inside. But unfortunately, there was so much excitement that they sold out pretty quickly. But they're back in stock!

So if you missed out last time, or you just missed the announcement entirely, now is your chance. But don't wait too long, you don't want to miss it again.

Anyone who uses mechanical pencils probably already knows the Kuru Toga well, but for those who don't - it's a pencil that rotates the lead as you use it. You know how lead tends to wear into a 'chisel' shape as you write and draw? And that makes a sharp point that catches on the paper, breaking the lead. Well, the Kuru Toga gets around that by rotating the lead a tiny bit each time it touches the paper. So the tip stays nicely conical, and you get a finer line with less broken lead.

Wearingeul - The Elf of the Rose

The latest in Wearingeul's series of inks inspired by world literature is from Hans Christian Andersen's The Elf of the Rose.

It's a beautiful ink, in a lovely rose pink with a silvery sparkle.

The story? Oh, it's a nice story about a nice little elf who lives in a rose. All very nice and happy.

Pet Corner

Our first pet that isn't furry, and also our first pet with no name. She's a blue death feigning beetle.

They usually live in deserts in South-west US and North-west Mexico, but also make good pets, being easy to care for.

This one, along with her friends, is cared for by Valerie, who says she likes cucumber, fish flakes, dried shrimp, and just relaxing in the warmth of her heat mat.

But that's not all! Valerie also acknowledged that beetles may not be warm and furry enough for everyone, so also sent us Jessie, who likes pretty much everything (except the vet!)

And Jessie is a bit of a special spaniel, she's a working dog. She's a hearing dog for the deaf, and helps Valerie out every day. What a good girl. Maybe the goodest. 15/10.
