Polychromos - 20 New Colours!

A lot of artists say Faber-Castell's Polychromos pencils are the best coloured pencils available. Which means it's pretty big news that they're adding 20 new colours, coming in August!

If you're a fan of these wonderful pencils, you can pre-order a set of all 20 new colours.

And, somehow, August isn't far away. No idea how that happened.

Retro 51 - Wolf Rescue, Peter Pan

Retro 51 make some pretty eye-catching designs, and we've long loved their Animal Rescue collection. This time, they're partnering with the Wolf Conservation Center in New York, with this black and white design that glows in the dark.

It's supplied as a ballpoint, with their Easy Flow hybrid ink refill, and, of course, the card tube that doubles up as a display stand to show off your pen when you're not using it.

And if you want to protect it when you're carrying it, but still show off the design, a matching pen sleeve is available too.

And, perhaps the best bit - a portion of the proceeds goes to help with conservation, education and protection of actual wolves. Well, ok, the education is probably directed at humans, about the wolves.

Peter Pan famously refused to grow up, and he may have had a point. Nobody really enjoys adulting.

With this design, Retro 51 do a lovely job of representing the old stories, in vintage-style green-on-ivory drawings, and vintage-style brass trim. The packaging again doubles up as a pen stand, with gold lettering on dark green, like an old book cover.

This one is a rollerball, with Retro 51's very popular liquid-ink refill. And there'a a matching pen sleeve for it, too.
