I’m kind of a nightmare when it comes to finding white jeans. I want them slightly slouchy and relaxed, but not too oversized, in a timeless shape that looks and feels vintage, without any holes or distressing. They need to be white, but not in a blindingly bright, Ross Geller teeth sort of way. Clearly, I have a lot of opinions. I questioned whether it was too late in the season to do this roundup, but when I asked what I should try on next, white denim was the clear winner. And I happen to agree, since they’re a year-round staple for me, and finding a pair that meets all my requirements was way harder than I expected. So I ordered 18 pairs, tried them all on, and narrowed the list down to the nine I'd actually recommend. One pair checked every box, and they're just over $100. For reference, I'm 5'6½" and usually wear a size 28.
