Finally. The ballet flat I've wanted to make for years.
Why I waited, what makes Lisse different, and why I think you'll feel it from the very first wear.

Hi love,
Long before I became a shoe designer, I spent years dancing in ballet slippers. Those years shaped the way I think about shoes and the way they should feel.
That's why, when so many of you asked why we hadn't made a ballet flat, my answer was always the same. I wasn't willing to create just another one. I wanted to create the right one, and that took time.
Every pair I had tried on the market seemed to have the same shortcomings. They rubbed my heels, needed breaking in, lacked cushioning, slipped off my feet, or simply weren't flattering enough to keep reaching for.
After years of testing countless pairs and listening to your feedback, I knew we could do better.
Meet Lisse, named after the French word for smooth and graceful.
Every detail was intentionally designed and tested through countless hours of wear. From soft cushioning and a secure, foot hugging fit to elegant lines and supple materials that comfortably adapt to different foot widths, Lisse is everything I believe a ballet flat should be.
I'm incredibly proud of what we've created, and I can't wait for you to experience Lisse.
With love,
Daniella
