The Everyday Life collection, designed by Paul Smith for De Padova, has won the INTERNI.PROPOSTE AWARD 2026 in the Inspired by Nature category, an award established by INTERNI in collaboration with Proposte Fair 2026 and dedicated to the most innovative collaborations between furniture companies and textile manufacturers.
The award is presented as part of Proposte Fair 2026, the long-established international exhibition dedicated to furnishing textiles held at Villa Erba. The 2026 edition introduces the INTERNI.PROPOSTE AWARD 2026 with the aim of recognising the most innovative applications of the textiles showcased at the fair.
The winning project was created using the Eidan fabric by Torri Lana 1885, reflecting research focused on material quality, sustainability, and the harmony between design and textiles. Award categories include Fine Outdoor, Inspired by Nature, and Precious Touch, with a jury composed of leading figures from the worlds of design and creative culture, including Gilda Bojardi, Gabriele Chiave, Francesca Lanzavecchia, and Alessandro Enriquez.
The jury cited the use of natural fibres and the overall coherence of the project as the reasons for the award, highlighting the perfect harmony between product and textile.
