It wasn't just the polar bears either. We saw walruses, whales, Arctic foxes and so many seabirds. Every day felt different, and you never quite knew what you'd come across next. That's what made the trip so special.
SH Vega was the perfect ship for it. It's small enough to get you into places the bigger ships can't reach, but after a day out exploring it was always nice to come back, have a good meal and swap stories about everything we'd seen.
