It's good to be back.

Let's start with a jacket, eh?

The last time we were thinking about this jacket, it was early March, and there wasn't a much green anywhere around Detroit (as you can see in the picture above of a very brown, very leafless Belle Isle).  We were just about to launch this beauty, and, well... some things came up.

But we're back on our denim grind!  And we're ecstatic to finally be releasing this gem.  We're making 100 of the Franklin Jacket in deadstock Cone Mills olive denim.  Will one of them have your name on the tag?

Open for orders now through July 31st.  All jackets are made-to-order and will ship out end of August, reaching you just in time for the shorter days and cooler nights of Autumn.

The Details

In 1962, the first automatic olive stuffing machine was introduced in Saville, Spain. It was used to stuff pimento pepper slices into olives. Before then, all olives were stuffed by hand.

The Mr. Greenjeans character debuted on Captain Kangaroo in 1955. He was nicknamed Mr. Greenjeans for the green denim overalls he wore (even though the broadcast was in black & white).
