Introduction

IntelliPHP is a standalone extension for Visual Studio Code that works great with PHP Tools. After a long period of development and testing, it is now installed together, giving you your local AI assistant at your hand while writing your code.

Features

• Code Suggestions: the main benefit of IntelliPHP is the whole-line code suggestion, also known as Inline Code Completion. Suggestions are shown instantly, as you type, respecting the word currently chosen in the completion list. It's almost addictive, non-intrusive, smart, and extremely handy once you get used to it. Confirm the suggestion with the TAB key, or cancel it with ESC.

• Whole-Line Snippets: sometimes, the suggestion has placeholders, like numbers or strings. Accepting the suggestion with TAB will cycle through placeholders so you can just fill in.

• Pre-Selecting Completions: In combination with PHP Tools, the code completion gets smarter. The best completion gets pre-selected for even less typing. Pre-selected item is marked with a star icon!

• Local AI - the extension works locally, without the Internet connection, so no data leaves your computer.

Performance

IntelliPHP has a small footprint on your computer's RAM and it provides suggestions in a fraction of a second. There is no background process constantly consuming your CPU neither.
