Information: price increase, and why.

You might have noticed some of the prices on Optimum Nutrition and BSN have gone up, which we hate to do, so I wanted to share why that was the case.

A very famous coffee shop brand (the one that misspells your name) recently went into a protein buying spree for some of their new range.

They basically went full Black Friday shopping attitude, rushing to grab all the available Whey Protein Concentrate (or WPC) they could find for their coffee.

Now a lot of large protein and supplement brands buy that very same WPC for their products. Not only Optimum Nutrition and BSN, but even ourselves for our own brands. And what happened is basically a shortage of WPC from the main suppliers, leading to an increase in cost.

That led to our suppliers of Optimum Nutrition and BSN raising their prices for us as well, which reflects now on the website.

I know it s*cks, especially if you are a user of these brands, unfortunately we don't really have a control on that at the moment.

What we did decide internally however, is to maintain the prices on the products we have more control on.

So if you're looking for Whey Protein that is still affordable before it becomes more expensive than a pint in London, go check out our budget protein selection and shop from there.

Sorry we couldn't give you a heads up, it took us a bit by surprise. But we hope you can find an alternative.
