Thick shakes in hot weather should be illegal

Hi there,

Quick one… I swapped out my usual whey for the summer.

Nothing wrong with the old one.

It's just a thick, creamy shake, and that's fine most of the year.

But summer's a heavier eating season anyway: more food around, longer evenings, barbecues.

Add a dense shake on top of all that, and it stops sitting right in the heat.

Not a macro thing, not a nutrition thing, not damage control after a heavy weekend, just a feel thing.

So I moved to THP Clear Whey(which you can get for £10 with code SUMMERWHEY)

It's a whey isolate that mixes completely clear (no cream, no thickness, nothing heavy) and drinks cold more like a fruit drink than a shake.

Protein target: unchanged. Everything else about drinking it: different.

Honestly expected to just tolerate it; a month in, I prefer it.

I'll go back to the usual when it cools down.

The habit doesn't change, the protein target doesn't change. The format just flexes with the season.

If you want to swap your Whey for the Summer, check out our selection here.

That's all this is.
